Peri menopausal women with a uterus

Use for example :

Femoston 1/10     oestradiol 1 mg and dydrogesterone 10 mg

Femoston 2/10     oestradiol 2 mg and dydrogesterone 10 mg

Femoston 2/20     oestradiol 2 mg and dydrogesterone 20 mg

 

Post menopausal with a uterus

Use for example

Femoston Conti    oestradiol 1 mg and dydrogesterone 5 mg

 

Women without a uterus

Use for example

Climaval    oestradiol 1 mg or 2 mg a day

Osteoporosis

Remember about non HRT treatments for osteoporosis

Evista (raloxifene hydrochloride) 60 mg od
Didronel PMO 1 od - has to be taken in the middle of a four hour period of not eating
Alendronic acid 10 mg od - has to be taken 30 minutes before breakfast standing up!.
